AUGUST MEMBER OF THE MONTH: TOBY!

Congratulations to our August Member of the Month – Toby!


Toby has been a fantastic part of our morning community, always turning up, putting in the work, and bringing a great sense of humour to every session. Toby has been incredible with his training, often running to the gym alongside his wife, Anna each morning. We’re delighted to recognise his commitment and positivity – a true example of dedication and balance.


We asked Toby a few questions so you can get to know him better:

🏃🏽‍♂️ Favourite workout?


HYROX strength, as I like a mixture of cardio and weights – I can normally still feel the Monday class on a Thursday!



🏋️‍♀️ Least favourite workout?


Burpees or bodyweight exercises, I feel I’m at a weight disadvantage.



🍻 What are you doing when not at Leo?


Usual stuff: working, family, eating and drinking – hence needing Leo in my life for some balance.



🍳 Favourite food?


Roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, or anything cooked on a green egg. Anna is great at making us eat healthy in the week, so by Friday I’m ready for a cheat meal.



🤜🏼 Motto or phrase you live by?


“Everyone has a plan until they are punched in the face.”



❓Something we might not know about you?


Proud Yorkshire man with a sweetcorn phobia – it put me in hospital as a child and I’ve avoided it ever since.



🍫 Anything else you would like to share?


I love a pint and a chocolate biscuit a bit too much, so I’ve come to terms with the fact that exercise is non-negotiable. Thankfully, Leo trainers and community are great motivation.
